Refund Policy Applicable to the Division of Continuing Education only

The following information pertains to policies and procedures of FIU Continuing Education (CE) that affect your enrollment in its non-credit programs. It is your responsibility to be familiar with these policies and procedures, and, unless otherwise specified, this Policy applies to all non-credit programs offered by CE.

CE reserves the right to cancel or reschedule any non-credit program with insufficient enrollment or for reasons beyond FIU’s control. If a non-credit program is cancelled, the participant will be given a full refund for the cancelled non-credit course or program.

Withdrawing from a Non-Credit Program

If a participant provides a written request to withdraw from a non-credit program within ten (10) business days prior to the start of the program, CE will provide the participant with a full refund for such program. If payment for a non-credit program was made with a credit card, the refund will be initiated once the written request to withdraw from the non-credit program has been received and approved by CE.  No refunds will be given after the second session of the program provided the program has more than one session.

Failure to submit the refund request in a timely manner waives any claims you may have had for a refund of your payment.
